BRIANA KING

Briana grew up in (picturesque) upstate New York and graduated from SUNY Binghamton. After a couple of years in (not-so-picturesque to a college grad) upstate New York, she enrolled in Rutgers Law School in (not picturesque at all) Newark, New Jersey. She spent the next 6+ years working (slaving away) as a corporate tax lawyer in New York law firms (silver lining, it’s where she met her husband). She successfully escaped Big Law in 2005 and went to work for Ingersoll Rand Co. (again practicing tax law) in Piscataway, New Jersey.

After (finally) discovering that there is more to life than tax (like tennis and group fitness!), Briana teamed up with her neighbor (and good friend) Sara Reeder and (amazing) tennis pro, Michael Romeo to buy Murray Hill. She currently lives in Summit, NJ with her husband, son, daughter, horse, dogs, cat, hermit crab and fish.

SARA REEDER

Sara is possibly tennis’ biggest fan (and she is undoubtedly Murray Hill’s!) The opportunity to assistant coach for Drew University during spring 2015 was a pivotal experience. Becoming part of a tennis and fitness community sparked a desire to transform her longtime passion into a lifetime career. That dream became a reality when Sara (and Briana and Mike) purchased Murray Hill Tennis & Fitness. These days she can often be found in the office strategizing ways to better the club, or on court (with Briana) strategizing how to win their next point.

Sara happily resides in Summit, NJ with her husband Tyler, their three children, and Murray, their Wheaton terrier. She is a native Minnesotan and former corporate lawyer. As of 2016 she is PTR Certified.

Amy SimidIAN

Amy won her first National title at age ten.

While competing on the junior national circuit she reached the No. 1 ranking in the United States for both singles and doubles.

She won the NJ state singles championship for Henry P. Becton Regional High School in 2009 after which the Bergen Record and NJ Star Ledger named her player of the year.  Amy went on to play first/second position singles and doubles for Penn State (2 years) and Fordham University (2 years). During her time at Fordham, she was team captain, awarded MVP, and made First Team All-Atlantic 10 both years. In 2014, she graduated with honors with a degree in Communications & Media Studies.

Amy joined Murray Hill’s leadership team in December 2016. Her creative vision, informed by a keen familiarity with the sport, has allowed her to keep a finger on the pulse of clients’ needs. Amy aims to make MHT&F a top all-around tennis destination in the tri-state.
