Camp FAQs

If you need to cancel your child's week of camp, in order to receive an account credit, you must notify us in writing at least 14 days in advance of the first day. We do not offer refunds of camp fees in the event of absence or withdrawal of any participant for any reason. All cancelations will be subject to a $75 withdrawal fee. If you cancel less than 14 days prior to the start, there will be no credits or refunds.

If you need to change your child’s week of camp, it must be done at least 14 days prior to the registered week of camp (space permitting). All change requests must be submitted in writing (info@murrayhilltennis.com).

If your child wants to attend a given week, but cannot participate for the full week, you have two options:
Sign up at the weekly rate and attend as many days as possible, with the understanding that we do not offer makeups, refunds or credits for missed days.
Register for a single day drop in ($150/day). Please note: drop-in reservations open up on the Friday prior to a given week (e.g., for Week 1 of Summer Camp (June 30-July 3), you may call us at (908) 665-1141 for drop-in availability beginning on FRIDAY, June 27).

Yes, we have an Early Bird discount. Sign up by April 15 and save 10%. Please note, the listed price reflects the 10% savings. (Our non-discounted rate automatically goes into effect starting April 16, 2025.)

Players must be at least five years old on their first day of camp with us.

Yellow Ball Camp: Players in our Yellow Core/Yellow Core 2 Clinics. New to Murray Hill? Call us at (908) 665-1141 to schedule your child’s 15-minute evaluation.
Private Lessons: For players ages 13-18 with zero (or very minimal) prior playing experience are welcome to schedule private lessons. We offer summer 5-packs at a discounted rate! Please call us at (908) 665-1141 for more information.

Yes, we have plenty of junior demo racquets available (in case you forget or simply want to try a bigger/smaller size). Campers are always welcome to bring their own racquets.

Snacks. We have one snack break each morning.
Lunch. We break for lunch daily around noon for 30 minutes.
Water Bottle. We have a bottle refilling station downstairs. We also have boxes of water available for purchase.
Footwear. Wear sneakers or tennis shoes. Please note, we cannot send your camper down to court unless they are wearing sneakers or tennis shoes.
Please remember to label all belongings!

No. Parents should send their campers with one snack and lunch per day. We do offer Pizza Fridays ($3/slice, due at Friday morning check-in), but do not coordinate food otherwise.
